Pro Team Captain: Meg Dirito

Meg is from Glen Rock, Pennsylvania. She is a wife, mother of 2 kids, part time emergency veterinarian, and full-time professional triathlete.

Pro Team Captain: Meg Dirito

Meg was a Division 1 swimmer for Bucknell University in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania where she swam the 50 and 100 freestyle events all 4 years in college, holding the pool, meet, and league records in both events for 12 years. Meg held multiple Patriot League Championship titles and was a 3 time all Patriot League selection. She was an NCAA and Olympic Trials qualifier and was awarded the Margaret Grunow award for top Athlete of graduating class at Bucknell University.

After graduating college, Meg started training for her first triathlon in 2018 and signed up for her first 70.3 (Eagleman) and 140.6 (Chattanooga) in 2019. Highlights from her age group triathlon career included qualifying for 6 world championships, 5th out of the water at the 2022 Kona World Championships, and 3rd out of water at the 2023 Finland 70.3 World Championships. In 2022 Meg was ranked 2nd overall Ironman in the US and 6th in the World. She achieved Ironman All World Athlete Gold level status and is a 3-time USA Triathlon All American.

Meg took her professional triathlon license in 2023 and PR’d her pro debut at IM Florida. In 2024, Meg raced Oceanside and took on her first Xterra (offroad) as a pro placing first and qualifying for Xterra 2024 World Championships in Italy.

Meg is coached under Endure IQ and Frontpack Swim.

Outside of triathlon you will see Meg cheering on her kids. Meg says, “I am their biggest fan”. Meg can also be found traveling the globe in search of new and exciting places. She has traveled many places and plans on stepping foot on as many places in the world as she can before she’s 90. Meg loves animals and cannot imagine her life without them. She has 3 dogs, a cat, and many chickens.
