Mike Stevens is a lifelong Marylander born and raised in Wheaton. He enjoys being the father of three kids and two dogs, coaching soccer, D.C. sports, participating and helping with endurance sports all while working full time at a Cyber Security Firm. He started his adult triathlon journey in 2022 by completing Eagleman. Mike has been a S.E.T. advisor since the concept phase and brings a wide range of skill sets including leadership, visionary, and innovation to the S.E.T team.

Join our team and help bring more adults into endurance sports. You'll lead outreach for our adult program, meeting people who are curious about triathlon, cycling, running, or swimming and helping them take the first real step — then showing them a team that will support them once they do. This role is a fit if you're comfortable starting conversations with strangers at races, pools, and group rides, and if you understand that most people need permission and a starting point more than a sales pitch. Experience in membership, community building, or sales helps — a genuine connection to the sport matters more. You'd be representing a USA Triathlon High Performance Team with adult athletes at every level, including professionals, Paralympians, and world championship qualifiers. The sport grows when people find a place to belong in it — your role is to open that door.

Join our team and help build the partnerships behind our athletes. You'll identify brand partners and sponsors, and bring the gear, discounts, and support that get purpose-driven athletes to the start line. This role is a fit if you're a natural relationship-builder who enjoys connecting people with something they'll believe in, and if you understand what endurance athletes actually need. Experience in sponsorship, sales, or brand partnerships helps — a genuine connection to the sport matters more. The best partnerships work both ways. You'll be building relationships with brands that want to reach athletes who train seriously and race often — and making sure those brands get real visibility and real advocates in return.

Become an Athlete Advisor and be the voice of your teammates. As an active athlete on our adult team, you'll bring the athlete perspective to leadership — what's working, emerging athlete needs, and what we could do to take things to the next level. This role is a fit if you're an active listener who connects with your teammates and can bring constructive feedback to leadership with ideas to improve our programs. You'll bring the athlete perspective into how we build programs, run training, and support race days — identifying what's working and what athletes need to level up — and work directly with leadership to act on it. S.E.T. is a USA Triathlon High Performance Team with adult athletes at every level, including professionals, Paralympians, and world championship qualifiers. This is a team built around our athletes — your role is to ensure we continue exceeding athlete needs.
