I am the Co Founder, C.E.O., and Head Coach of Syndicate Endurance Team (S.E.T.).  Everything I do is with passion, principle, and purpose, most of all coaching others.   My ideal client is an age grouper who wants to take their racing to the next level, move up to their dream distance, qualify for a pro card, or maximize their professional career.  I specialize in 29 and under athletes targeting pro cards and elite performance, and 45+ tackling big dreams.

I am a USA Triathlon (U.S.A.T.) Level 2 Certified Coach, a U.S.A.T. High Performance Team (H.P.T.) Contract Coach, with specialties in Draft Legal, Long Course, Paratriathlon, and U23.  I have been twice selected as U.S.A.T. Paratriathlon Talent I.D. Camp Coach for elite Paralympic hopefuls.  My first organized race was the JFK 50 Mile, my first organized triathlon was Eagleman 70.3.  I founded the first youth triathlon team in Howard County and have coached youth athletes to over 100 podiums in the past two years including Youth National Championships. I have over 30 years of training and coaching experience at the highest levels of private sector and government.

What you will need to work with me:

​

Middle to Long Distance Athletes:  10+ hour training availability (5K-Sprint Distance 5 hours), chest strap heart rate monitor, full activity tracking watch synced to training platform (e.g. Final Surge (provided) or Training Peaks), and S.E.T. race kit.

Swimmers and Triathletes:  Current pool access, goggles, shorty fins, kickboard, pool buoy. 

Open water swimmers:  Tinted goggles, bright swim cap, wetsuit, swim buoy.

Cyclists and Triathletes:  Discipline specific bike (No hybrids.  TT bike required for long distance triathlon).  Smart trainer with power metrics, Zwift or Rouvy (provided) subscription.  Proper discipline specific footwear.  Practice bibs/shorts.

Runners and Triathletes:  Willingness to purchase proper discipline specific footwear for training and racing (usually 2-3 different models).
