Wendy Robinson
(Paratriathlon Team Head Coach)
Wendy Robinson began her fitness journey at a young age with youth swimming, track, and dance. She remained active as she raised her four daughters in Bolivia, Brazil, and finally the US. Once settled in the US, she returned to fitness as a Spin Instructor and Zumba Instructor earning certifications for both. She developed a passion for running and challenged herself with races of various distances. She competed in her first Triathlon in 2017 and quickly gained a strong passion for the sport as it was the challenge where she could leverage her background with swimming and running. She's become an "empty-nester" allowing her the time to train and compete in two IRONMAN 140.6, Several Half (70.3) distance and a number of olympic, and sprint distance triathlons.
Her passion for triathlon, natural curiosity, and desire to share the sport with others lead her to earn USAT Coaching Certification while continuing to lead popular group fitness classes. By applying knowledge gained through the certification process, she has been able to improve her performance and enjoyment of the sport, reflected in a recent podium finish and appearing in the top ten for her age group at Atlantic City 70.3. She is passionate about helping others reach their goals. Wendy specializes in both adult and youth athletes, drawing on her extensive experience with sport and raising children to be thriving adults.
