Practice Locations

Triathlon We have three primary locations:

Columbia Gateway Drive (Majority), Columbia, MD conveniently located near 95, 100, & 29.
Hammerman Lake (Limited), Middle River, MD Off 95 North/North East of Baltimore
Rockburn Branch Park (Late Season), Elkridge, MD conveniently located near 95, 295, 100, & 29

Season Location Cadence:

March-Mid April: Columbia Gateway Drive
Mid April-Mid May: Hammerman Lake. This focus of these practices is to prepare for the East Coast Triathlon Festival (Travel & H.S.) and Bear Triathlon and Splash & Dash (Comp, Travel, H.S.) open water swim races. These practices are encouraged but optional for athletes not attending those races. Non attending athletes will be provided home workouts for Hammerman practices.
Mid May-Mid June: Columbia Gateway Drive
Mid June-Late July: Rockburn Branch Park
Late July-August: Hammerman Lake in preparation for the U.S.A. Triathlon National Championship open water swim.

Cross Country We have two weekday locations, and Sunday locations vary:

Weekdays: Rockburn Branch Park & Rockburn E.S., Elkridge, MD conveniently located near 95, 295, 100, & 29
Weekends: We tour various parks and trails throughout Howard County and a couple of Baltimore County parks near Ellicott City.

Indoor Cycling In 2025, our first indoor season, we have outgrown the Elkridge basement of S.E.T. H.Q. We are searching for a new Indoor Cycling location. Please contact us if you are aware of warehouse or studio space that might meet our needs. Our tax exempt charitable partners at Endure 4 All are assisting with this expansion and it's possible any rent reductions qualify as charitable contribution tax deductions.

Satellite Locations

S.E.T. Youth Team Now Forming Satellite Locations

S.E.T. Youth Triathlon Team is excited to announce we are offering Satellite Team practice locations throughout Central Maryland!

How It Works

Satellite locations host one weekday practice (Tue-Thurs) picked by group consensus
S.E.T. Howard County continues hosting weekend practices at their traditional locations (until Satellite Teams reach 20 members)
Satellite Coordinators work with S.E.T. to identify a suitable practice location(s) (e.g. parks, corporate centers, parking lots)
S.E.T. helps negotiate the use agreement and provide insurance
Satellite Coordinators help recruit parent and community volunteers to assist with practices
S.E.T. provides a coach or helps the Satellite Coordinator certify their own coach
Satellite locations must recruit and retain 6-10 members (dependent on age group distribution)
S.E.T. handles all administration and covers all practice expenses
