Beginner Team
The goal of this team is to develop athletes’ passion for triathlon and the associated endurance sports, and provide the necessary knowledge, fitness, and skills to complete their first triathlon or endurance race. This team is best for athletes who are curious about triathlon and the associated endurance sports. We ask that athletes commit to racing one to two team events. Athletes who have limited race experience and are still developing foundational knowledge, fitness, and skills should also consider the beginner team before transitioning to the competition team.
Requirements: Wear S.E.T. kit (e.g. tri suit, run singlet, swim suit) in target race(s). Volunteer at one or more team events.
NOTE: Athletes on S.E.T. partner ambassador teams race their own team kit.

NOTE: Athletes who convert their beginner package to full individual coaching with a S.E.T. coaching partner will receive credit towards your individual coaching fees.
